Diana Georgie is known for her text based works that are usually in vibrant and extravagant settings often referencing pop culture and contemporary iconography. Georgie works predominantly in the painted medium, often combining floral elements in a kind of analog, acrylic, text collage. Georgie had her debut solo show “Pleasure Paradox” at Gallery 30 South in February 2018. Since then, Georgie has collaborated on various projects, ranging from commissioned customs, to murals, an exclusive series of prints released for the Beverly Hills Hotel, to most recently designing a capsule collection of watches for Guess. Originally from San Francisco, Georgie started to pursue a career as a fashion model which brought her into collaboration with some of the top visual artists in the field, as well as working with international brands and magazines. After almost a decade of working as a model and painting on the side, she eventually began pursuing her art full-time. Georgie is based in Los Angeles.
